Experiences of Nursing Students in Practicing Blood Transfusion

Healthcare professionals need to know about blood transfusion. The purpose of this study is determine the experiences nursing students on transfusion and their opinions influencing factors. In qualitative study, sample consisted 12 second, third, fourth-year who were continuing education at a state university. data collected by conducting in-depth interviews via semi-structured interview form. coded under two themes including students’ with (three sub-themes: level theoretical knowledge transfusion, fear making mistakes, inadequate practice) factors affecting these (four related patients’ relatives, patients, practice training factors). As result observed have different fears regarding nurses, it recommended organize subject for educators manager nurses.
